This piece was my third exploration in using colored charcoal and applying it on wood. The white wolf gazes out from inside an understated natural wood and white hexagon border with a white wood border frame. Drawn on a unequal hexagon piece of 1/2” plywood, with the white wood frame border, the overall piece measures roughly ______. The wolf was drawn from a beautiful reference photo by Wendy Kedde.

Made with a combination of charcoal, tinted charcoal, colored pencil, a other mediums, all applied to wood panels, some framed, some unframed. This Pretty Sketchy Creations collection is my loose exploration of creating - where my love of charcoal, nature, and wood-working meet. I hope these pieces bring as much magic and freedom to you as I experienced creating them.
