Luke 2:19

from $45.00

Created using only acrylic paint, "Luke 2:19" was another journey of faith and inspiration. This piece seeks to showcase the love that Mary had for her newborn baby, Jesus, as well as capture the magnitude and celebration of the event. The inspiration for this painting comes largely from the song, “Mary, Did You Know” by Pentatonix, which first resonated with me when I was pregnant in 2019 as I wondered what my own baby’s future held in store for her, and I listened to the song on repeat as I painted this piece.

*Original Artwork is 16” x 20” acrylic paint on canvas. See Gallery for more information.

**8” x 10”: giclée prints on Hahnemuhle Rag archival paper with a 1” border surround.

**16” x 20”: giclée print image is 16”x20” on 18”x 24” Hahnemuhle Rag Paper (white border surround).
